Welcome to Kingdon Dugouts!

At Kingdon Dugouts, we believe in creating a space where every child feels loved, valued, and empowered. Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, supportive environment where youth can grow in their athletic abilities and in their faith.

Our History

Kingdon Dugouts was founded by Samantha and Walter Eicher with a deep personal mission: to provide a safe and supportive space for children to grow both in their athletic skills and character. Samantha’s own childhood was marked by hardship, but the softball field was her sanctuary—a place where she found the support and love that were missing at home. Together with Walter, who also overcame his challenging upbringing, they decided to build a place where youth could experience the same love and encouragement they were fortunate to find later in life.

The name "Kingdon Dugouts" honors their son Kingdon and reflects the idea of a dugout as a refuge. This vision of safety, growth, and support now drives everything they do at Kingdon Dugouts, creating a welcoming environment for all youth who walk through their doors.

Our goal is simple.

At Kingdon Dugouts, our goal is simple yet powerful: to create a community where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered. We believe every child deserves a chance to succeed, both on the field and in life. By fostering a positive environment centered around love, respect, and faith, we aim to equip young people with the tools they need to grow as athletes and as individuals.

We strive to provide a space where kids can focus on building their skills while learning life lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. Ultimately, our mission is to help each child find their place, be confident in who they are, and discover their true potential.

Training Champions...
on and off the field.

Kingdon Dugouts isn’t just about playing sports—it’s about training champions in every area of life. Through our programs, we teach young athletes the values of hard work, integrity, and teamwork, while also encouraging them to grow spiritually. We understand that the lessons learned on the field can shape who a child becomes off the field, and we are committed to developing well-rounded individuals who lead with character.

Our coaching philosophy emphasizes not only athletic development but also personal growth. We believe that when kids feel loved, respected, and valued, they are empowered to excel in everything they do—whether on the field, in school, or in their communities. At Kingdon Dugouts, we are dedicated to raising the next generation of leaders, both in sports and in life.
